2024 Tasting Notes
Fragrant wild blackberry, orange peel, and understated cola spice give this wine a vibrant lift. On the palate, soft tannins and delicate acidity create a juicy, moreish character. The young vines are beginning to reveal new dimensions, adding depth of flavour not found in previous vintages, making for an engaging and satisfying wine to drink now.

“A new addition to the MRE stable. The wine is good. Dark cherries, pips and warm earth, plenty of wood. One to watch.”
94 points – Jane Faulkner, Halliday
“Everything at Main Ridge Estate is turning to gold at the moment. It’s firm, sure-footed and polished to just the right degree. It’s from a young-ish vineyard but by golly the quality is good.”
94 points – Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
