Tasting Notes
The Acre block is nestled in the valley floor of the Main Ridge Estate Vineyard, as a result the deeper clay soils stay cool and wetter over the growing season, resulting in slower aromatic ripening.
Bright red fruits and spices typify the site, with firmer tannins holding the wine tightly together. Often the forgotten sibling of our two blocks of Pinot Noir, this site especially rewards during warmer vintages.
