We are pleased to announce the release of the 2022 Main Ridge ‘Estate’ and ‘Trueman’ Chardonnay, which are available now online and at our cellar door.
Just 200 cases of Chardonnay were produced in 2022, a consequence of adverse and erratic weather during the growing season. Care taken in the vineyards and the long period of cool weather leading-up to harvest, resulted in quality fruit showing bright and fresh varietal characters.
The following 2023 vintage marked our fourth consecutive year of small crops, so like many local winemakers, our stocks are now at an all time low.
To keep our cellar door open we have reluctantly imposed a 6 bottle limit per customer for the 2022 Chardonnay, maximum of 12 bottles per customer.
