Our first anniversary at Main Ridge Estate is fast approaching. It’s been a wonderful year in every respect, and we are very appreciative of the support we’ve had from our loyal customers, winemakers, the local community and staff. Before the holiday rush begins, here’s a quick round-up of news on what we have planned for the coming months.
MUSIC
The Australian Guitar Trio will perform ‘Renegade Journey’ as part of the Peninsula Summer Music Festival in the Cellar Door, from 6pm on Tuesday 3rd January 2017. Tickets are available now, via the Festival’s website.
ART
John Anderson, a professional artist who has lived on the Peninsula for 46 years, will be showing a selection of his local landscape paintings at Main Ridge Estate over summer. John’s lush, large scale works sit perfectly on the Cellar Door walls, and the rich oil landscapes blend beautifully with the local bush and vineyard views. Read more about John’s work here.
FOOD
As some of you know we have recently made small renovations on the Cellar Door, part of which was to install a commercial kitchen. We will be introducing Peninsula Plates from late December. These will comprise a selection of quality summer food from local suppliers, to share for a light lunch or snack and designed to match with Main Ridge Estate wines.
